Irvin Kershner 1923-2010

My dear Great Uncle, Mr. Irvin Kershner. He was, and will always be, a very important man in my life. He profoundly impacted who I am as a person. He helped to create the creative and worldly Ms. Sadie Green. And for this, and for so many other reasons, I pay my deepest respects, and pay homage, to a man who will always live on in my heart, and in the memory of the millions of people he touched with his work. May you rest in peace. I love you.
You were a true connoisseur of life, and I learned so much from you. Philosophizing, browsing through bookstores, and eating good food - you always ignited my imagination and will power. Through your extraordinary tales of Traveling the Globe, Hollywood Stars, Hawaii Lava and Amazonian Pink Dolphins, European Castles and Arab Kings, you were always filling me with wonder, knowledge and a thirst for experience that has guided and driven me through this life.
You've taught me many profound lessons in the nature of existence, creativity, human connection, and global citizenship, to name a few. I'm so lucky to have a "grandfather" like you. Uncle Kersh - you are my force.
